Extrafine merino wool is one of the finest wools, obtained from select merino sheep. Merino wool is classified according to its quality, which depends on the thickness of the wool fiber, measured in microns. The thinner the wool fiber, the softer, smoother, and more cashmere-like the wool becomes. This blanket is just like that – light, warm, soft, and gentle.
Merino wool from merino sheep is incredibly soft, elastic, and hypoallergenic. It is so elastic that even when stretched by 20-30%, it regains its original shape. This property makes it exceptionally durable.
